Mal is a rising MPH student studying Applied Epidemiology at Brown University. She specializes in literature review, epidemiological methods, and biostatistics with interests in maternal and pediatric health, causal mechanisms, and interpretable AI. In the future, she hopes to broaden her research to include neonatal sepsis, placental histopathology, and perinatal immunizations. Outside of academia, her interests include watching Monty Python and struggling through Python. When she’s not working or catching up on sleep, Mal can be found losing a game of chess in Coffee Exchange.
