Ainsley joined the Hadlock Lab as an intern through the Summer 2023 Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program to learn about clinical data science and modeling. In the lab, he worked on developing dynamical system models from biological data to create scalable predictions, investigate underlying mechanistic behavior, and observe feature interactions. After his internship, Ainsley continued his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington in the Applied Mathematics program.
