Bhargav Vemuri

Graduate Student

Bhargav is a rotation student in the Hadlock Lab and is pursuing a PhD in Biomedical and Health Informatics at UW. Before moving to Seattle, he received a BS in Medical Sciences and MPH in Biostatistics from the University of Cincinnati. His previous “dry lab” research projects include developing a gene signature predictive of relapse in kidney cancer, and proposing novel candidate therapeutics for brain cancer and systemic sclerosis. At ISB, Bhargav will be using electronic health record data to characterize the associations between immunomodulatory drug usage and adverse pregnancy and neonatal outcomes.
