Sevda received her PhD in computational analysis and modeling in 2020 from Louisiana Tech University where her research was focused on evaluation and optimization of preventive care for breast cancer. She also holds a master’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics. Her current research can be categorized into two broad areas: (1) stochastic decision modeling and optimization of complex systems, and (2) analyzing complex data using statistical models, data mining and machine learning methods with applications in healthcare.
