Thea is thrilled to be a part of ISB, where a holistic and dynamic approach to research infuses the entire organization. Thea comes to us from Fred Hutch where she supported faculty for four years. Before that, she managed the editorial production of scientific journals and taught English in private schools and community college. She received an MFA in Writing from Pacific University in Oregon. When not at work, Thea writes literary fiction, poetry and essays, curates a literary journal, spends time with her husband and three kids, and runs the Kitsap County roads.
