- Biography
While working in the Hadlock Lab, Bhargav was a graduate student pursuing a PhD in Biomedical and Health Informatics at UW. Before moving to Seattle, he received a BS in Medical Sciences and MPH in Biostatistics from the University of Cincinnati. His previous dry lab research projects included developing a gene signature predictive of relapse in kidney cancer, and proposing novel candidate therapeutics for brain cancer and systemic sclerosis. At ISB, Bhargav used electronic health record data to characterize the associations between immunomodulatory drug usage and adverse pregnancy and neonatal outcomes.
Bhargav went on to working as a Data Scientist at Phenome Health.
