- Biography
Rongyu is a postdoctoral fellow co-mentored by Dr. Jenn Hadlock and Dr. Jim Heath. She graduated from UW Bioengineering in 2024. During her PhD work, she developed a high-throughput platform to profile antigen-specific CD4+ T cells, with applications in immunology, vaccine, and cancer immunotherapy. Her current postdoc project focuses on building machine learning models to predict CD4+ T cell specificity using a lab-in-the-loop pipeline. Outside of the lab, Rongyu enjoys reading, crafting, and exploring the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.
