While working in the Hadlock Lab as a graduate student, Yeon Mi characterized the association between the continuation of antidepressant use during pregnancy and the risk of preterm birth using Providence EHR data.

While working in the lab, Yeon Mi studied in the Molecular Engineering Ph.D. program at the University of Washington. Before that, she obtained her BS in Genetics and Plant Biology from the University of California at Berkeley in 2018.

Yeon Mi went on to work as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University.
